There are several treks, for novice and experienced riders. We provide gentle, sloping farmland with some trotting and going through native bush. At the top of the mountains you will not be disappointed, scenic views are your reward.
The more experienced riders go through rugged bush and rise about 500 meters above sea level. From there you can see all the way to Wellington and beyond. On clear days the South Island is visible . These are spectacular views. The horses like a good gallop and are fascinated with scratching and muddying the riders! The horses seem rather fond of scraping amateur riders against all manner of gorse, branches and long grass! Most riders like this experience and have a lot of fun watching each other! What we offer
